ABOUT DR. HEMRICK


Dr. Hemrick completed her medical degree at the University of Alberta Medical School in 2015. She completed her Family Medicine Residency Program at the University of Alberta in 2018. She currently balances her time practicing family medicine with a dedicated practice in women’s health as well as devoting a special interest in dermatology. She is dedicated to expanding her knowledge and skills as a physician and is continuing her medical education through extra training opportunities in dermatology. She joined the team at Symmetry Dermatology in 2021 and continues to further her knowledge under Dr. Keeling’s mentorship.

Dr. Hemrick is a recipient of the Alberta Medical Association’s “Shine A Light” Award which recognizes physicians that go the extra mile for their patients and contribute to Alberta’s vision of a high performing health care system.

Dr. Hemrick is also an appointed Clinical Lecturer in the Department of Family Medicine and continues to work with and mentor medical students and medical residents.

In her spare time, Dr. Hemrick enjoys mountain biking whenever she has the chance, spending time outdoors, and with her family.
